Essaouira, Morocco

Essauoira was by far my favourite town in Morocco. Being our final stop on tour, I was rather exhausted, but felt somehow refreshed once I stepped out of the bus and began exploring the town. I’m not sure if it was the fresh sea air, the relax bohemian atmosphere, the beautiful architecture or the endless array of seafood in this quaint fishing town, or a combination of everything which made me fall in love with this seaside port on the Atlantic coast of Morocco. I you do every visit Morocco, don’t miss out on making a quick trip to Essaouria (only a few hours bus trip from Marrakech). It vastly different from the rest of the country – in both scenery and atmosphere. And I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
